Principal

Nick Marriott obtained a first-class honours degree in Environmental Science and completed his PhD at the University of Hertfordshire.  He joined MPW Cambridge as Director of Studies in 1995 and was appointed Principal in 1996.

Deputy Principal
 
Graham Almond obtained a first-class honours degree in Chemistry at Coventry University before completing a PhD and a PGCE at Durham University. He has taught Chemistry at MPW Cambridge since 1997 and was appointed Deputy Principal in 2003.

Directors of Studies
 
Mary Cooper read French and German and obtained her PGCE at the University of Reading.  She joined MPW in 2001 to teach French and German and was appointed Director of Studies in 2003.  She is the college's Specific Learning Difficulties Coordinator and Examinations Officer.

David Shah obtained a first-class honours degree in History from the University of Leeds and completed a Phd. in Italian Renaissance Politics for the same university. He worked extensively in the English Second Language sector in and around Venice, Italy, and in Britain before moving into the sixth-form education sector in Cambridge. He joined MPW Cambridge as Director of Studies in 2007.

Jane Travis read Pure Mathematics at The University of Salford and obtained her PGCE in Secondary (11-18) Mathematics at Edge Hill College of Higher Education. She taught Mathematics for four years at Runshaw Sixth Form College before joining MPW in 2004. She is the college's Head of Maths.

Head of GCSE

Sam Nightingale read Biochemistry at the University of York before completing a PhD at Cambridge University.  She managed a community centre and acted as a team leader for The Prince's Trust before joining MPW in 2004.
