The Principal is a member of the Council for Independent Further Education (CIFE). The college is subject to regular inspection by the British Accreditation Council which also audits our exam results before publication.
Mander Portman Woodward Cambridge has been accredited by BAC since 1990. It was most recently re-inspected in March 2005
BAC's inspectors reported on an overall excellent standard of provision. They
particularly noted that the high standard of teaching was supported by a strong
personal tutor system which brought every student into direct contact with the
senior management. Academic facilities included modern science laboratories, a
good art room, excellent multimedia provision and classrooms equipped with
excellent IT, audio and video facilities. There was excellent pastoral support,
both for local students and those from overseas.
Mander Portman Woodward Cambridge was awarded continuing accreditation in April 2005.
BAC is the inspecting and accrediting body for
independent sixth-form colleges.
