Christmas Revision CoursesChristmas Revision this year at MPW consists of three intensive ‘day’ courses running on Monday 20th December, Tuesday 21st December and Wednesday 22nd December 2010. Each day will run from 9.00am until 3.00pm with a one hour break for lunch, totalling 5 hours tuition. Students will join the tutor for the whole day and will cover the core elements of a particular subject. The tuition is generally non-board specific and groups will consist of no more than 8 students in accordance with our maximum group size policy. The following timetable for A-level tuition gives a flavour of what we can offer but note that spaces will depend on a combination of demand and tutor availability.
Prices All group tuition is charged at a rate of £168 per day for the 5 hours tuition. For topic-based subjects, such as English, with a wide range of potential topic areas, we offer one-to-one tuition tailored to the student’s examination board and set text. The daily rate for this tuition is £231, again based on 5 hours with the tutor. We will be pleased to accept bookings of two or more students studying the same text and the rate then will be same as for group tuition - £168 per day. If your subject is not listed, please contact the college and we will endeavour to meet your needs. As spaces are understandably limited, I would ask that you book early to avoid disappointment. We are also able to offer GCSE tuition, at the same group and individual rates as for A-level, as follows:
